
The Texada Island Chamber of Commerce serves businesses, residents, and also brings together various organizations to hear community updates (such as from the Van Anda & Gillies Bay Fire Departments, Texada Arts Culture & Tourism, Texada Heritage Society, Emergency Preparedness, Ferry Advisory Committee updates, Powell River Regional District Updates, etc.).

Meetings
Chamber Dinner Forums are held on the last Fridays of September, November, January, March and May, at the Texada Island Inn. Arrive at 6 pm. Dinner service is at 6:30 pm. Dinner reservations are required in advance.
Board & Business Meetings are held once every two months throughout Fall, Winter, and Spring on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8 pm at the Seniors Centre in Gillies Bay. These meetings are open to all members of the community. No membership is required.
