The Texada Island Chamber of Commerce occasionally writes letters of support and concern on behalf of our members and the community.
Support letter for the Gillies Bay Improvement District's application for the Federal Tax Grant to upgrade the water infrastructure for Gillies Bay to Shelter Point (within GBID), upgrade water hydrant coverage, and install a bike/walk path while the roadwork is being done.
Support letter for the Gillies Bay Internet Society for their grant application to the Connecting British Columbia program. It helps fund infrastructure required to deliver high-speed internet connectivity to rural and remote areas of the province, Feb 2021
